[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is powerful enough to cool my space while being quiet enough to hear the television.

Poor Heating, OK Cooling
on October 29, 2019
Posted by: Hobart
Bought and installed the unit in the early summer. Room size is a bit over 300 sq ft and is well insulated. Room is used once or twice a week in the morning hours. Cooling capacity was adequate. Heat is now needed. Unit will not blow air warmer than 80 degrees. Re-reading the fine print reveals that the unit is designed for supplemental heat, not primary heat. I suppose it might work to maintain a temperature if you have another heat source to reach the initial desired temperature. The electrical specs reveal that the unit uses more electricity to produce lukewarm air than it does producing cool air.

It's A Heatpump Very Energy Efficient
on March 25, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third of these units that I have used for year-round heating and cooling of a 12 X 16 outbuilding. The unit is in constant use. Extremely energy efficient. Operates with no problems, I just wear them out at about 5 years. I installed the first unit "thru the wall" by removing the outer case and, the best surprise of all, both of the replacement units slid right in perfectly. I slid the last unit in, plugged it in, turned it on and it has been working perfectly just like the last two.

Good except the energy saving mode is worthless!

I bought this about a month ago and overall it cools well, but you have to leave it on in cooling mode. If you switch it to energy saving mode, the unit turns on for about 5 seconds and then turns back off for a long time. The room temp gradually rises to about 12 degrees above the setting on the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Ewisniew. In the energy saver (econ) mode, the fan will continue to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 20 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. You may want to attempt lowering the temperature point while using the energy saver mode. If you continue to encounter these concerns please contact us directly. Kindly -

Not happy with the heat but ok with cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not give out heat when temp is below upper 30's. Advertising says heat no matter what the temp is. Not so. Don't know if mine is defective or just the way these units act.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
