Perfect for that small room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 250 sq ft sunroom that is not connected to the main house heating/cooling system. Leaving the entry door open is the only way to attempt to have conditioned air into this space. Decided to purchase and install an 8000 BTU heat pump window unit to heat and cool this area. Installation was straight forward, do recommend you purchase an external support bracket to take the load off the window sash. The unit works as advertised and now we can use this room all year round.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No water dripping from outside pan...

I see no water drip from outside pan like older window units..the install has outside tilt etc...do these newer units just not drain much..this is an 8000 with heat...room size 300 sq ft..

It's quiet. No chance yet to test heat

We will see how the heating component runs when it cools down this fall. The unit had a ding on it when it was delivered. I may be the only one who sees it, but I notice it each day.

heat pump works great

When the temperature outside is up, and it has been some and will be during several weeks this summer, I am confident it will make economical comfort. It has proven itself already. I easily replaced an old thru the wall model with this and I hope it will last many years.
