[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad to buy this fridgaire room airconditioner . It saves energy, as well as low in noise. It runs very smooth with remote control for all its function, like to change spped, switch to cooling or heating system.

Does what I need it to do

I bought this unit about 3 or 4 months ago and installed it as a through the wall unit for my garage. It was easy to install and has cooled off the garage when I needed it. Glad it has the heat element to use as supplementary heating for the winter months. I like the remote control that came with it. Unit has worked well so far.

Heat Unit stopped working.

Went to my detached office walked in and it was cold. Tried resetting the unit, tried the AC and the fan nothing kicks on, just a humming noise. Went to download the manual and it is only available in Francais now if I only spoke French
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heat died after 1 year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for our bonus room above garage and the heat stopped running after one year. It blows warm for 2 minutes then starts blowing cold. We live in South Georgia and don’t use the heat a lot, so I don’t know why it would stop.
