Will Not Be Disappointed! Exceeds Expectations!

Purchased the unit in May 2020 to provide supplemental AC to a house that does not have central AC. Finding a quality unit for a casement window is difficulty, but this AC was the ideal unit a it surpassed all the others in features and quality. The unit was relatively easy to install and heavy, but we added a wood frame for extra support (see pic). The unit produces continuous cold air with a mighty force. It even feels like we central AC! The control features on the unit and remote are simple in design and easy to understand. You can set the desired temperature and this unit will come on/off as needed. This AC unit works as advertised and is a excellent product for the cost.

Easy Installation, works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of struggling to install a regular window air conditioner in a casement window I broke down and bought the Frigidaire Casement A/C. Very glad I did. Very easy to install. Fit well and sealed well around window with the many insulation pieces provided.
The Frigidaire does the job in a difficult room to cool, cathedral ceiling and some nooks & crannies. The unit takes care of it. My wife and I are getting good night sleeps! We made a good chioce.

Great unit - but cheap plastic and awful packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great unit - I have had two over the years and they are the only option on the market pretty much for casement windows. The packaging is horrendous though - cheap styrofoam on a massive metal unit?! always arrives damaged on the side and the front plastic panel cracked. The plastic is getting cheaper and thinner over the years too - front panel is barely holding up on these new units. So, functionally great - packaging and materials are really bad. But then again - you dont have a choice with casement windows.

I have a side slider window. This fit perfectly and cools the entire room!

Works incredibly better than a floor model

It replaced a floor model of the same BTU rating but, it cools at least 4 times better according to the tenant. He is thrilled with it and it is so quiet you don't even know it is running. It cools a space of about 500 square feet incredibly well even during outside temps in the low 90's. I plan to buy more for some other apartments.

A Life Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had a serious accident in the beginning of June which ended out yearly plan to live on our sailboat this summer. Our apartment didn't have air conditioning and the weather got hot and humid. Our Frigidaire Window AC was a God-send. We have sliding windows and this unit was perfect for our small apartment. Friends installed it for us and we've been two cool cucumbers ever since. Thank you Frigidaire!!
