After only a month of use..air conditioner broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit worked really well for a month and after that it was extremely loud..so loud I was unable to use it .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install

Unit arrived in good condition and with mounting and support brackets. Unit was fairly easy to install, instructions was clear and concise. Unit worked fine and was easy to set, the only problem is the timer. I would like to be able to set the timer once for on/off, without having to reset every day, needs a memory board. This is my second one, still have the first one a 8000 BTU, its 10 years old and still working fine. I hope Frigidaire will add a memory board to these units.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy this casement style AC Unit is available to buy in the US! The dimensions of this unit are perfect for our kitchen window. It is very powerful & cools most of our kitchen & living room, on the low setting! Also really like the option to open/close the venting. It's very useful when cooking as our home does not have an exhaust fan for our oven. The mounting instructions & equipment are great & it was easy to install. We are considering switching out our other window AC units with this casement style as our windows open horizontally in our home. Great product definitely recommend to buy!

Purchased this thinking it would be comparable in overall noise ratings. It sounds like a 747 taking off (very noisy) very disappointed.

Awful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a two months ago , it broke :( I followed orders to be replaced and was told if would take a couple days to process and send a new unit out. That was two weeks ago and still no new unit

Nice and Cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Central California where it gets over 100 degrees many days each summer. We put in a 10 x10 insulated sunroom on the west side of our house many years ago, but it gets too hot. This particular model was the only one we could find that would fit the windows in the room. We added this window AC this summer, and it makes a MAJOR difference! It even gets TOO COLD sometimes and we need to change the temperature setting. We paid an installer, which almost doubled the cost, but we are happy campers!

Just as powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this little guy at the beginning of June to cool the living room; I live on the top floor of a house, which makes it prone to trapping all of the heat rising from below. It was even able to keep the hallway, kitchen and bathroom cool (which out of the ACs direct path). Easy to install (only needed assistance to place it in window) and easy to follow instructions. Best summer purchase.

Great Cooling - Way Too Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit to replace an aging similar Frigidaire unit. The new one is so loud, I have to turn it off when I am on video calls so I can hear. I also have to wear ear plugs at night to sleep. The low fan setting needs to be much lower.
