Just what we needed for a bow window! Lifesaver,,,

After less than 5 minutes of turning it on I thought "wish I knew about this sooner and worth every penny!" Even if I just want outside air , use the fan. Has economy to save turns on and off to keep consistent temperature. Love it!!! This room had no ac so brought me into this century! Thrilled ~ Nice looking unit to

Maximum Height Question?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m giving serious consideration to buying this air conditioner but it gives a max height in the window of 40 inches (page 3, section 2 of installation instructions) My window has a max height of 45 1/2 inches...does height really matter in the case of a horizontal sliding window air conditioner?

Quietly cools our living area without a problem.

The Frigidaire effortlessly controlled the afternoon heat. The installation in our narrow sliding window was easier than any previous air conditioner we have installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package was delivered on a Sunday by FedEx. The delivery guy just picked up the whole package with his hands and set it on my doorstep! Whew ! Wish I could do that! This thing is not lite!
Everything arrived intact and about 2 weeks early. The installation instructions were unusually detailed and written in actual English! I was really impressed! My installation differed a bit from that specified in the manual, but everything works as expected and I am very pleased with the result. It is nice to have a small air conditioner as a backup should the main unit fail during the Arizona summer.
