Great Cooling - Way Too Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit to replace an aging similar Frigidaire unit. The new one is so loud, I have to turn it off when I am on video calls so I can hear. I also have to wear ear plugs at night to sleep. The low fan setting needs to be much lower.

Awesome Output

Put one of these in my bay window, it went in fairly easily and for a window unit, it does a phenomenal job cooling. It almost single handedly handles the whole main floor of the house.

This air conditioner puts out all the cold air you could ever want. It got a real test the first day it was installed it was over 90 degrees that day and my home was like an oven even with several fans going. They got it into the window and turned it on and in just a few minutes the temperature in the house began to go down. It was well cooled in only about ten minutes. I am not talking about just a bedroom...I am talking about the whole house. Two large bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, living room and family room! I am very glad I got this one. The only downside is that the panel for above the unit to fill the window space was way to small. We finally just used a 3/4 inch piece of wood to fill the window space. I will paint it once the temps have cooled down some. It was quite easy to install but be sure that you have help as it is not a one person job. I had three young men working on it for me. I would have given five stars except for the panel not fitting and there is none you can buy to fit. I may have to try the hardware store to see if they have something generic that will work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS AS MY LARGE AC UNIT IS GIVING ME PROBLEMS. I NOW LIVE ALONE IN A SPLIT LEVEL HOME AND ONLY USE MY UPPER LEVEL. THE AC UNIT NEVER DID COOL OFF UP HERE AT ALL. THIS IS AMAZING!!! MY SON-IN-LAW SAID IN THE PAST 20 YRS HE HAS NEVER FELT IT SO COOL UP HERE! ANDDDDD NO INCREASE IN MY ELECTRICITY BILL EXCEPT $4.... I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND WILL PRAISE THIS CO. THEY HAD THE UNIT AT MY HOUSE IN TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this over the summer for our bedroom, since we have no a/c in the house. We only have sliding windows throughout, so it was difficult to find a unit that would work for our windows. This was a great buy, as it has worked as intended and provided a great deal of relief from the hot, summer nights. Our little baby girl has loved the white noise it has provided as well. Would definitely buy this unit again if we decide to get another and would highly recommend to anyone with sliding windows.

It's okay. Wish it would cool down my 650 sqft

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your A/C experience, Albert1580. A properly sized unit will remove humidity effectively as it cools.
Based on the model that you provided, it appears that the unit may be too small for 650sq feet. A unit too small for the area to be cooled will run continually without cooling effectively. The room remains too warm and too humid. Based on the sizing chart, you will need a 14,000 BTU unit to effectively cool your living room.
