Best Ac Ever!!!

Bottom Line this is the best 1200 BTU unit ever! I have owned other units and they were loud and heavy. I unpacked the unit myself and put it together. I am not handy at all. The customer service team is amazing and they go out of their way to make sure Im happy. This unit cools my rooms in my home so fast and effectively while maintaining a quiet environment. THIS UNIT IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!
Pros: Accurate Temperature Controls, Cools the Whole Room, Easily Portable, Easy Window Installation, Easy To Use, Energy Efficient, Even Air Distribution, Quiet, Sleek

Best Price for a Great AC Unit!

This NewAir 12,000 BTU unit is excellent for my upstairs bedroom that gets direct sunlight in the summertime. Going to bed when the room is 90+ degrees is not a problem once you turn this thing on. As long as it is not overly humid, this AC will cool off a decent sized room in no-time. It gets the room down to the low 70's (I keep it there to save energy) and keeps it there all night. The timer and sleep functions are very nice, and the remote is a bonus so I don't have to get out of bed to adjust the unit's settings. The only downside is this unit is loud, not overbearing, but still loud. Once you get used to it, its no big deal and you can sleep with it on just fine, but the first few nights takes a little getting used to. Overall though, my girlfriend and I are very happy with the NewAir AC-12200E unit and how it cools our bedroom. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and family. The customer service is a bonus, Ashley S. has checked in with me a few times to make sure I am satisfied and the unit is working properly, its nice to know that the company cares about its customers!

Poor unit, don't buy

I didn't know this unit required draining of water when I bought it. I soon found the drain discharge was metric thread and couldn't be added to. I wanted to add a shut off valve and flex tubing but no plumbing suppliers in the area handled M18-2.5 threaded fittings. I tried numbers us times to contact product service but received no response. The cap installed on the units drain pipe wasn't the same size thread as that on the drain pipe. I returned the unit and got my money back. I do not recommend this unit.
