Bought it a week ago and I don't regret it. One little thing, though, it' a a bit noisy at full speed.

I've had my NewAir portable air conditioner for two years now. It's one of four units I have in my house. The others are LG. This unit is quieter, more compact and we love the way it has built in storage for the hose and accessories. It keeps our master bedroom chilly, even on the hottest days, and helps us get a good nights sleep! Highly Recommend and Customer Service is exceptional!

Poor unit, don't buy

I didn't know this unit required draining of water when I bought it. I soon found the drain discharge was metric thread and couldn't be added to. I wanted to add a shut off valve and flex tubing but no plumbing suppliers in the area handled M18-2.5 threaded fittings. I tried numbers us times to contact product service but received no response. The cap installed on the units drain pipe wasn't the same size thread as that on the drain pipe. I returned the unit and got my money back. I do not recommend this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good product for the price

I use the product at night when sleeping. The 10,000 btu air conditioner cools down my bedroom which is a good size. The only issue I have with it is that the unit is loud when the compressor kicks on and off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We use this in a single room that is about 12 by 12 feet. Easily cools the entire space even with vaulted ceilings.
