The vent is designed for the front of the unit, not on top, so you get more direct cooling. Very happy with this purchase

I should return it the first day I got it. It is aloud noises and and it only goes two directions(up and down). I only used it during summer when it’s hot and hardly use it. After 3 years the compressor is no good. The water kept filled up very 30 minutes. Looking for a new portable A/C that doesn’t make s too much noise.

I have this unit in my garage room and I have never owned a portable unit. I like it a lot it's heavy when first taking it out of the box but it does have wheels so easy to move. it is a little loud but not overbearing. I found out it works best when the drainage tube is connected so it can drain when in use and maintains the temp I have it set for.Great QUAILTY AND VALUE...

Without product my sons room would be useless over the basement. He sleeps over garage in bonus room and any large house with one unit outside should consider purchasing a new air product. Even if you have adequate cooling, central air units fail and this is an awesome backup.

I have it in my living room near my TV. Keeps the room cool all day and is not too loud for the TV. Filters are easy to access and PVC Window Vent is easy to work with during installation

This purchase was my third air conditioner from New Air. I think these are the best Air conditioners on the market, and we now have one in every room.
