[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new food processor is harder to understand and operate than the previous Kitchen Aid I had. That said, it also does a better job of slicing and shredding using the newly designed discs. It is very hard to remove the lid or snap the lid in place prior to operating it. I am 84 and have arthritis in both hands, so this is painful for me. I hope that with time and use it will loosen up a bit. Not sure I would recommend it. I don't like the black cord. I am replacing a Kitchen Aid.
