I'm using the 6015 in my master bedroom that is approximately 14 x 20. It cools the room down to chilly temps without a problem on 85+ degree summer evenings here in Oregon. I like that it is quite small and easy to handle during installation and storage over the winter.
It has an effective yet simple remote that adjusts fan speed, temp, on/off, mode and timer. It's a very efficient unit using only 4.8 amps and about 500 watts. It should pay for itself in the first season because I won't have to use my 3800 watt HVAC system in the evening. It has an EER rating of 11.2 which is very high and rare in the window AC format.
All air conditioners produce noticeable noise, and the 6015 is no exception. However it is quieter than most and reasonable for bedroom use. You can't expect to get the same level of quiet that you get with central air when the compressor is just behind the fan.
It's well packed and well made, but you must take care not to press on the cooling fins that are quite delicate and exposed across the back of the unit.
All and all its a smart buy with an outstanding performance to cost ratio.

I purchased the LG 6000BTU window a/c on 17 May and have been enjoying ever since. Product cools my room quickly and shuts off when temp reached and every so often comes on to check if room needs to be cooled. Set up was very simple, hard to believe how easy it was to install. I highly recommend this product and was seriously thinking about buying another for my guest bedroom. Love it!
