Fairly quiet on low & medium fan, some what loud on high fan, no up & down airflow adjustments, only left & right. Cools my bedroom with ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It sucks. Very loud. I have 2 other LG window ACs that are great, figured I'd buy another. Big mistake. Super loud. Do not buy this.

I've had many window air conditioners over the years, but I have to say that this LG does what it's supposed to do. It cools our bedroom (plus the one directly across the hallway) and does it very quietly! I like the features it offers like a setting that just removes the humidity from the air without having to use the AC function. It works with the fan to remove that sticky moisture. I also love that this 6000 BTU LG LW6015ER has an actual thermostat where you can set the temperature to a number! Now we don't have to just be cold because the thermostat temperature is preset. We can choose our temperature. On really hot and humid days we start at 60ºF and Fan Speed F2 (medium) so we can cool down our bedrooms for an hour or so. Then we change the temperature to 62ºF and change the Fan Speed to F1 (low). For us, that's the perfect temperature for the rest of the night. Even Tommy-the-Cat enjoys our new LG window air conditioner when he hangs out at the end of our bed. He likes it because it's quiet. Our last window air conditioner was so loud that it gave us headaches from the noise -- and Tommy-the-Cat refused to visit us in our "cool zone".
Bottom line is that this LG window air-conditioning unit is a great fit for our lifestyle. It was easy to install, keeps us comfortable so we can sleep at night -- and it's quiet. All of that and the price point was perfect. We're very, very happy now!

The LG LW6015ER keeps our 2nd floor cool!

We have searched for the right air conditioner for years to cool the second floor of our home. The LG LW6015ER model was easy to install in our second floor bedroom. This air conditioner extends cooling throughout our second floor and keeps all three bedrooms cool and comfortable. Its easy to regulate the controls and adjust to extremes in temperature!

Love my AC unit

I had previously purchased an LG window unit with remote a few years back and had such great success from it, when I had moved and needed a second unit to cool my bedroom, still using my original unit to cool my living room, I decided I wanted the same features and ease of use in our new unit.
I found this model LW6015ER to be comparable in price to many others of this capacity and a great value. I love the feature that allows me to use it as a dehumidifier instead of having to use the AC on a humid rainy day. Also the economy mode which tests to see if the AC needs to come on is also great. I save so much money not having the AC units run unnecessarily. and also the remote operates all the features including changing modes, fan speed, temperature, and of course just plain on/off.
My wife and I both rave about it when asked if we like our Window AC units. with just 2 units I keep my whole 870 sqft mobile home comfortable on a budget and at an economy price tag as well.
