This air conditioner is the best one I have purchased so far. Easy to install and super easy to use. The energy saver option is great cause it shuts off at the desired tempature and quietly comes back on to maintain

For a small window unit, this is best we've had, it is quiet, effective, easy to install.

I purchased my window air conditioner at the start of the summer because my bedroom just wouldn't cool down at night. It has been perfect. Easy to install and we used it the first night. Sleeping in a cool room is heaven.

I bought this unit because of the good reviews and good price and I couldn't be more happy! It's been going nonstop all summer and it's as quiet as a window unit could get! So pleased I went after another but they were already out! Well I'll be first in line next season! Thanks LG!

I bought this after summer started for a fairly large sized room upstairs where out central air doesn't go and it keeps the room, short hallway and even bathroom cooled right off when it's not too, hot. When it's in the 90's, I do need to close that room's door for a little while and let the room get cold, then let that cold air out into the hall & bathroom. Tip: if you open 1 door outside of those rooms (there's 2 more doors up there) and let the hot air blow out first, it doesn't take as long to get that nice chilly

I bought this unit when I began to have hot flashes at night. I'm so happy to say that's all in the past! I sleep perfectly with my comforter now, and never need to remove the blankets because I'm hot! It cools my master Bedroom and bath. It's easy to install, clean and change the filter. I love the remote, as I can turn it up or down from the comfort of my bed!

Too Loud!!

We have had this air conditioner for about 10 months now and it has started to make a lot of noise with a heavy vibration sound. I think my neighbors must be irritated when we have our a.c. on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good unit with terribly noisy compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have installed over 400 window units and I can say this is the noisiest one I every installed. Perhaps it is from the window or other reason but now I have to pull the ac out of the window to see if the compressor makes this loud abnormal noise for over 2 minutes. If something changes, i will changes, my review will change.
