Very satisfactory

I bought this AC about 45 days ago. It is working just as it is supposed to and has made very easy to go thru a pretty strong summer this year. Pretty silent and I feel it will bring my electricity bill down too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great air conditioner!

I had purchased and returned a portable air conditioner that was good for a small single room, but because I live in an apartment with a big open area and then a dining room on the side as an L shape, the area measured about 582 sq ft, and the portable ac wasn't cooling it. I had to do a lot of research because the sleeve in the wall under the window was not big enough to fit a big unit with high BTUs, I did not want to have to return the ac also. I found the Frigidaire - FFTA1422R2 and wow! it cools the big area in the apartment and it doesn't take long to do it. I was impressed I thought that a 14,000 BTU ac wouldn't be able to cool off the place. It fits perfect in the window sleeve. I have a big Cyclone by Lasko floor fan which I place at the end of the dining area facing my son's room since it's in the back, and in his room there is a tall Dyson right by his door and all the cool air from the air conditioner flows into his room. He loves it, specially with the heat wave we are having. We all love the Frigidaire air conditioner, it does a great job!

The only thing missing are App enabled controls.

Good product that so far has performed well. With that is came with some home intergration so that it could be remotely triggered. For those without central air, remote start/programming etc would be a big feature add.
The delay start is good, but would like more control over the start/stop than a one time activate.
This is the age of connected home. Get on top of it!!

Not cooling

I bought this unit 2 months ago and its not cooling. The compressor does not appear to be running. I have 2 of these units so its easy to compare performance. The older unit 11 months old is working great. I'm hoping that the warranty is not an issue and its repaired quickly

new a/c is too noisy
