We purchased this unit back in July 2015 and we're very pleased with it's
performance. Just love the Remote Control and programing ability. The Digital Display on the unit is easy to see and the Unit is very quite. We also like the Auto Speed Fan feature that adjusts the Fan Speed to maintain the temperature that you set it for. This Unit also seems to develop less condensate than our old Feeders 16,000 BTU unit did and it cools much better with less BTU's.

Great features and quiet.

We bought this product at the end of the summer when our old Frigidaire air conditioner broke down. Only had to used it twice when the weather was in the 80's. It cooled quickly and was very quiet. I'm sure it will be used very often next summer.
We are very happy with Frigidaire products. In fact, all our kitchen appliances are Frigidaire brand. Good quality and reliable.

Over Rated Cooling Power

I am finishing up a cabin in the Ozark mountains. I just had blow in foam insulation (supposedly the best) and installed the a/c, just in time. The heat arrived almost on the same day I turned it on. I had high hopes for this a/c. My cabin is only 425sf, so I had hoped that with the blown in foam, it would really cool the place easily and not take too much electricity. Well, so much for hopes. The a/c runs really well, but it has to run constantly on high just to keep me a bit cool. I am not looking forward to the power bill. Like I said, it runs really good, but it is really over-rated in how much and how well it cools a space. I don't have the money to buy another one so I have to live with it. Sigh. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent A/C experience, Rdhall. It could be possible that the A/C is too big for the space that you're cooling, which also could be the reason you're having to run the unit longer than expected. Cools room and has great features

I replaced my 12 year old AC a month ago and couldn't be more satisfied. Room cools quickly, temperature seems accurate, movable air vanes easy to use!
