Too new for issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 weeks ago and so far so good. Can’t compare it to other brands since my condo can only accommodate this one particular unit. The last one died after 13 years. I’m hearing strange sounds when this one is running but I’m going to see if that continues. It cools very nicely!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is quiet and hopefully efficient. However, the eco function doesn't seem to work. It turns on for a minute, then turns off without cooling the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased over a year ago and has been working amazingly well ever since! love the power saving thermostat mode where I can set the temperature and leave the house to come back and have it just how I like it. Kicks on and off as needed instead of always on low or high setting like my old one. Definitely would recommend this to anyone with an older unit with a through the wall sleeve!

Poor cooling, horrible AC

Purchase the Frigidaire 14000 BTU 230-volt air conditioner replace a wall AC in an existing sleeve. The Frigidaire didn't work well at all. It barely provided 3 to 4 degrees of cooling for a 610 square foot space with 8-foot ceilings. The specs say it's a cool if a 700 square feet, but it didn't work well at all. I worked with the appliance store where I purchase the unit to get a replacement; however, replacement unit didn't work either. It's just not a very powerful air conditioner. The compressor would come on for maybe 10 minutes and then shut off. The Appliance Store allowed me to return the Frigidaire AC, and I replaced it with a Koldfront 14000 BTU 230v AC, which works great.
