Very reliable opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it took three attempts for my Overhead Door opener and new opener to sync, it has performed flawlessly since then. Overhead Door could not provide an opener that would work on my 1999 model opener so I was ecstatic with this offer and subsequent performance!
Pros: reliable, Sturdy

Well Made Unfortunately My Opener was too Old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This opener was easy to understand and program and provided a variety of options to program it. Unfortunately I have an older home with an early 90s opener. I received this hoping it would work on my door with the DIP switches as I researched online but I could not get it to work.
That being said the features and make of the product are outstanding. It's solid in your hand has a quality clip and bright LEDs when pushing buttons. It is advertised to work with all garage doors with the laser guides by the tracks, mine does not have that and again I couldn't get it to work. I will update upon updating my garage opener which should be soon.
Pros: easy to install, Sturdy
Cons: does not work on old openers

Works with new and old openers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing one of two 14 year old door openers, we needed two remotes to open both doors. The Chamberlain Clicker works with both!
It took just a few minutes to program for both openers; the older one with an orange programming button, and the newer one with the yellow one.
The instructions were well written and easy to follow, and are also available online if you misplace the printed set. While it was a bit awkward to click the remote button 8 times as one of the programming steps for the new opener, it was still easy, and worked the first time.
The Clicker supports two devices, where the original remotes could handle three, so it may not be the best solution if you have 3 doors or 2 and a gate, but it’s great for a 2-car garage.
I'll be getting more of these for my other cars. Does anybody need an old remote???

Cons: controls only 2 devices

Sets off alarms

This remote sets off store security alarms. Why? It works fine opening the garage door.

significant improvement from the original remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Sears overhead door opener came with a three button remote. It works fine, but occasionally I can't seem to find the right button in a dark car, or the car bounces on the curb and I "double hit" the button causing the door to start up then go down This doesn't happen anymore.
This remote has a much more positive feel when you click it. It stays on for a second or so, I no longer have to hold the button until I see the door start.
The range is 50 feet or so longer as well.
