An interesting story about this remote:

I bought this model a week ago. It was very easy to program it to my opener. However, a few days later, I lost it. I had it inside my truck on the way to work, but at some point after that, it was gone.
Well, today (a few days later) I found it, a bit randomly. It had somehow fallen out of my truck in the parking lot of my gym. It sat there this whole time in the below freezing temperatures, and had been run over at least once, probably by me after I dropped it, and it's still in one piece, and it still works!

Finally, a Universal Opener

I have a three car garage with 2 doors and after replacing the old Genie opener on one side with a new quiet belt drive Chamberlain model I was dismayed to find that the multi garage door openers I had from both models could not be programmed to open the other brand's door. I searched for a while and finally found this remote universal opener. I had both sides programmed in less than 5 minutes and it works great. It appears to be able to learn most models I have ever seen including both those with learn buttons and toggle position switches. My Chamberlain opener is a "smart" model that I open through wi-fi with my i-phone. One day I arrived home and the internet was down and I was unable to open the garage. This remote serves as an excellent back-up to keep in the car and as a bonus it can open both doors.
Pros: easy to install, Packaged Well, quiet, reliable, Sturdy, Stylish

Weak Signal & Beware if you have other openers too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First party - made by Chamberlain. Easy to program - instructions break down button presses for different opener brands & model years. Set up took maybe a minute.
The "pros" for me end there. I have to be in my driveway, with nothing but the door btwn the opener and the remote for it to work. Annoying. We have another programmable opener powered by a coin cell battery like this one, which is also weak. Why do manufacturers insist on these weak, cheap openers instead of the older, more powerful ones?
The other main gripe I have is that we also have an opener that uses dip switches and is not learning/programmable like this one is. Once you pair this remote - the dip switch remote is worthless. Also annoying.
Overall, I'd recommend this if you can't find one with something that has more juice than a coin cell, and if you don't have dip-switch openers. Otherwise, steer clear. Fortunately, we also have myQ, so this is more or less a backup opener or for use when I'm too lazy to open the app on my iPhone.

Cons: weak signal, breaks dip-switch openers

decent remote

i got this because I liked the clicker type switch rather than the membrane style which is so common. & it works fine when I push the switch I know it's activated,as opposed to the membrane which has a mushy feel. over all I'm pleased with this opener. the only con is the casing feels a bit cheap but it works fine.
Pros: easy to install, Packaged Well

Sub Par remote

I found the most redeeming quality was the battery used in the remote was a very popular battery and as such very easy to replace. Programming was relatively easy, about the same as all the others. The problem I have with it is the lack of distance that renders it useless.
I have several other remotes that work just fine but your remote simply does not work at the end of my driveway.
I have about a 30 to 40 foot driveway and I tend to back into the garage for safety reasons. I need to open the garage door from the end of my driveway. This remote refuses to operate the door regardless of how it is positioned in the vehicle. As I say, my other remotes work just fine from the end of my driveway. Standing in front of the garage door or inside the garage it works great.
So, my review, sorry to say is not a pretty one.

Clicker Remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clicker works as advertised. Range is about the same as the original craftsman remote. Programming was simple and quick. The clicker has 2 buttons where the original remote has 3, however, I only have a need for 1 button. The clicker has an LED light, the original remote does not.
