Great TV

We bought this TV to replace an old bedroom TV. The picture is excellent. We enjoy all the features. We now can stream Netflix on this TV. The only trouble I have had is changing channels with the remote. There is a delay, and sometimes it takes me several times to input a different channel. Other than that, we very much enjoy this TV! We were also very pleased with the support to set up the TV!
This TV has a great picture but the internet connection is very poor. I have a home wireless network that gives all of my wireless devices a very strong signal with the exception of the Samsung TV. My ROKU is amazing on my other TV which is not a SMART TV, but the TV internet connection is extremely disappointing.
I should have taken it back.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, wireless connection is terrible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Smart Apps and they seem very responsive to me. The picture is OK, but the sound from the internal speakers is the worst I've ever heard on a TV; nearly unusable. For the price I expected more from this TV. I am really disappointed with this TV.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, smart apps
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible sound from internal speakers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I first viewed the picture, I just stood there in awe. This is my first HD TV and I couldn't believe what I was seeing and what I had been missing until now. I did extensive research on all brands and from what I had read , including Consumer Reports, Samsung was the better choice all around.
TV is great, smart apps are great, I only wish the responsiveness were better. Apps are sometimes slow and I've had the TV actually freeze as if it were a windows computer (I almost expected a blue screen). Hulu app is particularly weird, if I try to stream at highest video quality, video will constantly rebuffer, this is not a connection issue as I have a working 50 mbps connection and it does work properly in my laptop.
I understand this is a mid-end TV so it doesn't have the fastest processor available, but still, I would have expected a bit better UI experience.
My first Smart TV. My 3rd Samsung TV. I bought this as our bedroom TV. My friend has another brand TV that has the 4 color spectrum that gives the great picture... I was very impressed. This Samsung's picture is better. It sometimes feels as though I'm watching 3D. The SMART features are alot of fun and quite easy to use. I'm a tech guy but my wife is not as much and she has actually had no problems learning this system. I think the only improvement would be when a TV can just read my mind.
You can tweak the picture settings to your personal taste and there are plenty of recommendations for the settings online. It is a reasonably priced "Smart" TV for the bedroom. Also with 120Hz it is good for watching sports.
