A good television, more expensive than most of the competition but probably worth the cost. Sound though is no better than most small flat-screen sets. For comfortable listening my old ears require audio output to a Sony sound bar. One minor complaint with the sound controls on the set's remote: Could the mute button also turn off sound when output to other devices, making it easier to silence commercials, which I don't usually want to hear. Closed captions on broadcasts that allow adjustments are very good. I use extra-large white letters with black borders on either a transparent or translucent black background. This arrangement is easily read without distracting my attention from visual content. The non-adjustable captions on a solid black background are less satisfactory.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blown Away - Stunning Display!

This TV is absolutely amazing! The picture quality is out-of-this world! I am continually astonished by the clarity and depth of color and detail of the picture; great for gaming, watching (Netflix), etc. I continually get comments of how nice this TV looks in my man cave. And the Smart Hub features are fun to play with... I have a Galaxy (Note 4) and Galaxy tablet, and these devices pair quickly and easily to share photos/videos with the family, screen mirror, etc. The only small downside is that it was very expensive. I must say, there were other models from LG and Vizio that were less expensive at the time. But the seamless connectivity between all my other Samsung devices was worth the price - you will pay a little more, but for an incredibly superior product, hands down. I will buy nothing other than Samsung products going forward, and if you want optimum performance you should too!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, connectivity, smart features, screen mirroring
Cons: expensive, incompatible w/ non-samsung branded accessories

We were extremely pleased at the ease of initial setup. We have been amazed at the clarity and brilliance of the picture. The options make it the best TV we've ever owned. The only feature we miss is its lack of blue tooth communications and control. Otherwise its great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no bluetooth

Great picture. Nice variety of smart TV apps. Four HDMI inputs. Plus it has an optical digital output so I can hook up to my older digital surround sound system.
