Quicker than retyping from Scratch..

To many errors in scanning if the business card is not 'standard', however, it is faster to use then retyping the business cards from scratch..
Pros: Excellent Software, Easy Setup
Cons: Inaccurate Scans

Best use scanning cards, not enough hooks into other software outlook, ACT etc better wizard features and dashboard for finding names.
Pros: Excellent Software, Easy Setup
Cons: Difficult Setup, Outlook configuration

Time gain, money gain... hassle free

So much time saved. I receive an average of 30 business cards a week and Cardscan has changed my life... Unfortunately, I always need to check every single card after scanning because it picks up part of the company logo but not all of it and then the coordinates are not in the right place.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy Setup, Accurate Color
Cons: slow, Cannot read logos

Don't like all the pop ups

The constant pop ups for surveys and backing up are very annoying. Every time I open Cardscan I have to cancel out all the messages/pop ups. I never experienced this with our old Cardscan software.
Pros: Excellent Software, Easy Setup, Accurate Color, Good Resolution, Works on Network
Cons: Pop ups are annoying

- great for scanning business cards - software has some lacks like: birthday sync with Outlook does not work even other Outlook fields are not sync-able, cannot save config profiles to use the CardScan software on several PCs, no sync with Thunderbird possible
Pros: Widely Compatible, Accurate Color, Easy Setup
Cons: Poor Software
