I find Card Scan to be a lifesaver. My boss comes back from conferences with over 100 business cards to import to his Outlook contacts folder; this product makes it so much easier to transfer that information.
Pros: Easy Setup, Works on Network, Excellent Software, Accurate Color
Cons: slow

Stolen Laptop

When my laptop was stolen I was able to retrieve my contacts (over 800!). I can't immagine having to enter 800+ contacts in a database.
Pros: On line backup, Works on Network

I love my Card Scan

I'm using my card scan to input a number of cards that have been collected over the last few months. Due a relocation I knew that this would not be a problem... Plus with the sync option with Cardscan on line I love having my data base always available and when I purchase a new computer to sync with so there is no need to worry about loosing ones data base of over 20 years.....

Great Details, Reliability Issues

Great organizational tool for contact management. Have lost the card images several times and had to re-image. Overall, happy to have this management system.
Pros: Easy Setup, Widely Compatible, Accurate Color, Good Resolution
Cons: Poor Software, Data Loss

I use it for presentation cards.It does not synchronize well with Outlook, cause it does not send the image, only the information.
Pros: Accurate Color, Good Resolution
Cons: Inaccurate Scans, Difficult Setup, It does not scan correctl, Poor Software

A Great Product But Treated Unfairly

I had the product for less than a year when I got a new laptop with Vista. When my unit wouldn't work (Vista stated back that it was an incompatible USB device)I did not immediately get a correct answer from tech support. Finally I was told I would have to repurchase the software. I don't mind paying for major feature releases! I do mind paying for O/S compatability. Granted there were some upgrades to the product but I considered most of them minor and not a major improvement to what was already an excellent product. That is the only reason I rated this product 4 stars instead of 5.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy Setup, Excellent Software, Good Bit Depth
Cons: Having to rebuy software
