One feature that would be nice for the small format of CardScan would be to scan business receipts so one can print the image on an 8.5"x 11" sheet to submit with an expense report

We have it set up as a laptop work station for office. It gives us the mobility and fexability for in office or on-the-road use. With the Lead Qualifier software, database management is simple and quick. Allows for setting specific catagories which makes finding the information fast and simple. "Great Tool !!" Wish we had gotten one sooner.

We got tired of renting a lead machines at the trade shows & conventions for [$] a pop. We attend over a dozen shows a year and the CARDSCAN paid for itself at the very first show. We could enter the pertainent information that we needed and have the information in our systems immediately without hours of manual input. The CARDSCAN does seem to have some difficulty with some of the different graphics that are on business cards. The difficulties require manual input to make the corrections, but that is a small problem compared to the value, speed & download capabilities that we get from the unit.
Pros: Accurate Color, Good Bit Depth, Widely Compatible, Excellent Software, Good Resolution, Works on Network, Easy Setup
Cons: Inaccurate Scans

We have multiple businesses. I use different databases for different companies. I set up my own categories (for instance, welders) because when you need a welder you can never remember their names to look at their card. Also, it allows me to throw away business cards rather than having stacks of them rubberbanded together.

The syncro with Outlook is not very good, the card image is lost many times.
