Card Scan--what an incredible time saver

I actually look forward to the data entry portion of my day vs. dreading it! Thereafter, I sync immediately with my PDA device. I retain a "hard copy" of the business card at home. I would also strongly suggest making a separate copy of the electronic data list, in my case, now 1,000 + entries I have accumulated in an "off site" secure location--nothing short of a safety deposit box to store the valuable information.
Pros: Good Resolution, Widely Compatible, Works on Network, Good Bit Depth, Easy Setup, Accurate Color, Excellent Software

The product is great, but needs improvement on some Card reading. Can't tell if its the software's fault, or the actual cards. Seamlessly integrates with my palm and related contact software.

Ok I have been in sales 40 years and been using many technologies and many sales productivity tools most are collecting dust, not my CardScan 700C. On my their Card Scan unit.CardScan is very easy to use, fast setup on any PC system. Integration to Outlook and all other business applications is very fast.The business cards I scan in are critical to my sales susccess and helps me save time and time is money.After I close a sale, with my card scanner I can quickly send the color business card to my customer service to process the customers orders.We love it [...]

It should be integrated in every laptop

I use the product for contact management and organizing business cards. The product is simple, however could use some more compatibility with Lotus Notes and more seamless operation with both Lotues Notes and MS Outlook. I use both. The online storage is an excellent feature.
Pros: Widely Compatible, Good Resolution, Good Bit Depth, Easy Setup, Accurate Color, Works on Network
Cons: slow, Poor Software

This is very easy to set up and link up with Outlook contacts, and has very quick scanning.

Can't imagine business before CardScan

Being in the General Contracting business and dealing with many different designers, subcontractors and owner/developers, I generally receive 10 to 20 business cards a week. Without CardScan, I would be lost! It keeps me organized and allows easy access and reference for all past and present clients, designers and subcontractors. I am able to sort the database in so many ways it just makes my business life so much more productive.
