I use Cardscan as an address book, data management system, for referencing clients ,business, friends and family. I will shortly be using more of the on line features as well... internet storage site is great! I want to use it in conjunction with my GPS and cell phone. I believe they overlap with the computer in doing business. I have a networking marketing team and have told everyone about this product that I can think of. I even demo it so that they can see for themselves what it will do...for them! Some other product was introduced to us by a team member , less expensive, but was dismal to a point of it being a complete waste of money and time. I really hate things that don't work, waste money, time and effort to learn. Cardscan can be used with Outlook, Act etc. and email as well…so I can email out information for meeting, luncheons, business updates etc. without jumping though a lot of hoops. There is a very small learning curve, as well, so that it another plus! This is a great product and the service dept. was helpful and polite along with tech. dept. I needed help to get my online storage updated. The pictures are so clear even the eye color can be seen...I was really surprised. Also receipts are clear...I file those as well. I have a copy for my records exactly as printed, front and back, and that can be a very useful feature. Post cards from events, memory joggers, etc. are easy to input. Again, very long receipts, no problem! Cross categories and self created topics are very useful and very easy to find. Names, numbers, street, companies, etc. It's God sent if it's needed and needed in a hurry. Hope this review helps someone...it is my honest belief that stress reduction comes with a system and a system is just knowing and being able to take the next step. It is rare that something works better than expected year after year. The CardScan has always out performed expectations.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy Setup, Excellent Software, Accurate Color, best scanner at any price

Thicker is better

I wish that the product worked with the new thicker card stocks that professionals are using and driver licenses and read the barcode on the back.
Pros: Accurate Color, Good Resolution

Cardscan executive keeps my stack of business card out of desk, what a bargin. All contacts are alphabetically sorted and can be viewed on the internet anywere in the world, this is too much.
Pros: Excellent Software, Works on Network, Accurate Color, Widely Compatible, Good Resolution

Easy to Use but Not Intuitive

It does not read all font types so it enters in the incorrect information and its almost takes as much time to review and correct the scanned data as entering it manually
Pros: Excellent Software, Accurate Color, Easy Setup

As a fact checker it doesn't get much better. As a link between your e-mail contact files it doesn't become simpler. As a way to check for, eliminate, and update duplicates, I wonder why the big boys haven't done this before. And as way to make multiple lists for different use, from master contact file, I can't think of an easier way. I wish I found this 10 years ago. This might be the BEST software I have ever used, and I own Photoshop CS2, Quark, Office Vista, and everything in between.

I have used cardscan for over 6 years. I have never once had a single issue with it. Never once. This is the only tech gadget that I own that I can say this for. I use this product all the time an love the efficiency, reliability and performance.
Pros: Accurate Color, Good Bit Depth, Easy Setup, Widely Compatible, Good Resolution, Excellent Software
Cons: Have not found a negative
