Would be great without the glitches

Overall I like the ease of use and accuracy of card scanning. The synchronization process does not work correctly all the time and there is a softwear glitch that does not always allow you to change a name in an existing card and have it print correctly.
Pros: Good Resolution, Works on Network, Easy Setup

MAXIMUM Lead Capture

At Trade shows we use "any" means available to capture leads and Cardscan gives us one more reliable way to do the job. Small shows don't have commercial lead capture services and Cardscan is a requirement for efficiency. I don't want my customers wasting time filling out forms when I can just scan their card as I use valuable "facetime" to pitch my products and answer questions. At large shows people are three deep at the booth and we have to be able to accomodate everyone quickly or we lose them....Cardscan gives us that extra lead capture ability. This system has paid for itself many times over in just three shows.

The product is very easy to set up and once you start using it, you wonder how you did without it. It makes making address lables and lists very easy and helps organize all the information. Unless you need to track detailed info for each contact, this can serve as a self-contained contact software as well. Scanning software is very accurate and needs very few corrections. It also produces address labels accurately. It is great for printing single labels. One small drawback - when you produce a page with address labels, you cannot edit it. This presents a problem when you have an address label sheet which is partially used. You can't drag and drop the addresses to match the positions available on your address label sheet. It would be a big advantage to also have a single address label printer with this product and I am thinking of buying one.
