Time is precious and CardScan saves a ton of time getting what was once a onerous job done quickly. I no longer wait until every possible thing on my desk has been done before placing the business cards into the rolodex! I do them almost as soon as they are given to me. I'm happy, the executive is happy - it's a win/win deal!

Cardscan is the engine; Outlook the face

The interface with Microsoft Outlook 2007 doesn't seem to be stable. Would like more flexibility with new address field creation
Pros: Easy To Use, Good database manager, Works Efficiently, Small Footprint
Cons: Unstable Outlook interfac, Bad with embossed cards, Unreliable Performance, Bad with thermo-plast

I use Card Scan to scan every card I get. The ones I use on a daily basis are transferred to Outlook. Good OCR engine. Color scanning can be slow at times. The best feature is the ability to quickly scan the data base looking for something. Very often, I go to Card Scan to do a search when I can't find what I need in Outlook. Occasional glitches with the transfer protocol. D

The only way to "deal" cards!

Creating complete contact lists with the ability to export to a variety of devices, Outlook, Palm Pilot. Simple connection and user friendly software. Never read the manual, plugged it in ran the CD and started scanning and exporting to other devices. I travel for extended periods so the CS700c must travel with me along with many other portable devices.
