Needs updated drivers to stay current with the new Windows 7 since the new 7 works reliably and will displace Vista and pror systems. If drives ae available then my rankimg would move to recommended.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Good Resolution
Cons: No driver for windows 7

I turn on the PC after dinner, pull out all the business cards from the days meetings or a show I just attended and run them through the scanner. I usually have to make minor changes. Then I transfer them to outlook and my Blackberry. Done. What a pleasure to have a tedious job completed in just a few minutes. I've had Cardscan since the scanner was connected by parallel port. The company's been great in supporting the product through the years. They stepped up when my scanner stopped working while I was out of work a while back. Good company, good product! I would like to see the addition of 2 features. 1) An easy way to copy a contacts information so I can simply paste it into a letter or email. 2) Scan receipts for expenses.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Scans Quickly
I would recommend this to a friend!

Make sure when you install the software on a Windows 7 64-bit computer that you select 'Custom' instead of 'Typical' Install. Change the path of installation to C:\Programs Files (x86)\ instead of the default which may be set for C:\Program Files. The regular program files directory is for 64-bit software only. I have not tried to install on 64-bit yet, but I assume that this procedure will work since I have been able to install many other items of 32-bit software this way on a 64-bit computer.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Scans Accurately, Easy To Transport
I would recommend this to a friend!
