Biggest con aboutCardScan Executive is that doesn't scan the back of the card simultaneously.
Pros: Scans Quickly

The most intelligent namecard scanner

CardScan helps save a lot of time searching for old contacts from stacks of old namecards. Boxes of namecards on my desk are gone within days.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use
Cons: Sometimes inaccurate

If you have no phone book system, this is a great place to start! If you use outlook or Act 2010 this product works very well. I save money and keep my ACT Data Base clean using CardScan tools and syncing with Act! It would be great to have Cardscan also synch with GMail contacts so my phone contacts stay up to date!
Pros: Scans Accurately, Great DB Clean up tools, Woks with Act2010, Fast Lookups, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly
Cons: Needs Gmail Contact Synch, Needs Cell Ph Pic Scaning

GREAT Scan and OCR![*] Software!

How can you take a FAST, SMART, BULLETPROOF, LIGHTWEIGHT, TRANSPORTABLE, FAIL-SAFE piece of hardware like the CardScan 700 and couple it to a [*] piece of dogsqueeze like CardScan 7.0??I'll even go so far as to say that CardScan 7.0 would be passable if it allowed for HIERARCHICAL FOLDERS instead of the all-flat-folder metaphor we left behind as an industry in DOS 1.0. The export is limited and brain-dead, although it works after a fashion. But the need to have ALL CDB files in parallel and physically run out of room to display them at the top of the page is SO retro as to suggest outright contempt for the users.I would recommend this to anyone who can either export the data and then use it in another program, or who otherwise can live with the limits of the software. Why not? The actual hardware is 21st Century, all the way. The OCR and Page Recognition software is so awesome, it's nearly scary.It's sad... kinda like the Mona Lisa with a big scratch across the smile.

Lower the price and allow liscense to be used on more than one computer a person owns. Your survey is a pain. Regret that I went down this path.

I meet 10.000 humans / year! 80% have a card. I have allready 50.000 cards allready to be scanned. Hope y´r product will survive this challange!
