Great tool .. but does not travel well !

+ fast & accurate with Western languages + relatively easy to use - does not work well with Indian / Chinese cards - too bulky to travel (why not make a phone application)
Pros: Scans Accurately
Cons: Difficult To Transport

I am involved in a number of companies and this helps me to keep them separate and accurate. Ease of use helps a lot so that I don't have to remember how to use it every time. Accuracy of the scanned data helps to increase productivity and reduce mistakes. Syncs to my Outlook and then to my PDA.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use, Good Resolution, Scans Accurately
Cons: Difficult To Sync, Out of the box needs work

Not the ideal product it should be

I have been using it for over 1 year now. It works but it is complex to set it up so that it transfers the contacts to Lotus Notes. It took more than a few calls to tech support. It has duplicated contacts by mistake more than once. I am also very surprised that it would miss email addresses frequently (easy to recognize the @ symbol). In any case, it is useful and it saves time but it is not the ideal product that it should be.
Pros: Scans Quickly
Cons: Difficult To Sync

Needs to be able to sync to other address books outlook is not the only one out there

CardScan works well, is easy to use, and is good value for the price. It's biggest drawback is inability to drag and drop contacts between Cardscan and MS Office Contacts. Despite that drawback, Cardscan is an indispensable office tool for anyone who must manage contacts.

If I have to pay for an update service CardScan gives me that plus a neat little machine for my desk!
