Cardscan & iPhone are must haves!

Love how Cardscan syncs with outlook! Wish there was an iPhone App that Cardscan's scanner could plug directly to the iPhone or utilize the photo feature & view a searchable scan of the card in the landscape mode like an iRolodex to visually flip through contacts!

Scan business cards that I acquire from Chamer of Commerce events, Expo's, etc.

A Great Product at a Great Price

This product could use some improvement in the area of file management. As with all state of the art products, CardScan leaves little room for improvement. However, there is always something that can make things better. Overall I consider this a "State of the Art" product, this includes Support and Pricing, all most a perfect picture. WELL DONE!! Good programme and worth having if you've got alot of contacts that you want to consolidate. Being able to use it on a laptop means I can get in touch with contacts when away from the office and my business card collection. On the negative, it won't synchronise with Blackberry. LotusNotes is also problematic if the set up differs slightly with what CardScan expects. If they could resolve these issues, it would score 5/5 for me.

I would love to extend CardScan's use from just business cards to perhaps an extension that can also scan full pages. That will be an added bonus. It should come as an add on but not replace the current hardware. All said, it is a great product. I wouldn't switch to any other contact database interface. Bravo!

Much better use of my time

Using Cardscan allows me to quickly add to my database of contacts at tradeshows. Each person I meet at the show it automatically categorised and follow ups are easily done. Compiling mailouts and other small databases is completed easily and efficiently. No more piles and piles of business cards and whats more the contact details are always with me in my PDA.
