I started using CardScan about 15 years ago. The software has become increasing more efficient. I am currently using CardScan600c. It definitely saves alot of time and typing.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Scans Quickly, Good Resolution

Great Product, right price

The CardScan unit is perfect for the on-the-go professional or office setting. I do not have alot of time in my day to consolidate or type in contacts into Outlook. The cardscan scans the images in a fraction of time it would take for me to type them in conventionally. I also get an attachment/image of the original card and can easily back up the contacts on the web incase my laptop dies or is stolen. If your wondering why to invest? Don't! I recently sat down with 162 business cards the other day and had them scanned, proofed, and uploaded in less than 30 minutes. Can you do that? It is a terrific tool that saves me time and money. If you have a secretary who can enter your cards why not have him/her use this tool. You will make their day if you provide them this gift. If you don't like entering them why would you think that anyone else would! Go out and buy one and end the business card entry blues!!!

Great for scanning cards at tradeshows

Product is easy to transport, use with a laptop computer, sets up in no time at all. Has been a great asset in saving time doing data entry. The only improvement that could be made to the product is to have it work with Microsoft Access.

Like many users I need to have information stored on both home office computers and laptop - this results in some issues re licence Recommend that consideration be given to ensuring Retail Stores do not mislead consumers or alternatively when registering consumer has option to register for maximum 2 desktops and 2 laptops. This was an issue with Anti Virus programmes which has been resolved by ability to purchase licences to cover all family members Also would encourage family members to utilise CardScan
