I hate going through all my business cards looking for a contacts. With the CardSCan it was fast and simple to get orginized. I use it all the time and recommend to all my freinds and co-workers. Also the support staff are the best! Thanks CardScan for making a product that really works...

Quick, Simple, CardScan!!!

I purchased CardScan with a co-worker in 2005 we got a joint liscense and shared the scanner. Well I left the compnay in 2007 and I told him he could keep the scanner! Big Mistake! I had become spoiled to all CardScan can do. It centralizes both my professional and personal contacts into a single database. It is very customizeable (as to what you download, only name, only e-mail address, only phone number or only all three.) The reason I mention this is at my new company they have a limit on the server as to how much data can be stored. When I found that the images were going to my Outlook database and overstuffing my data allowance, I just changed the settings. Very nice. Everything works well. Sometimes I wish it were more accurate, but about 90% or more of the time I never have to make changes. The duplicate review is nice on the system, so that you can cancel a duplicate if necessary. I have two negatives about CardScan: 1. Though the duplicate review is nice, every time you run it, it will pull the same duplicates, if you have two John Smiths and one works for company A and the other at company B the data does not recognize these as different entities. I wish you could tag them somehow and show that they are not the same or that the system would recognize Compnay A John Smith and Company B John Smith are two different people. I would like to run the same database software on my work computer and on my home computer for personal use. I have been told there is a way around this but to do things legally and correct you must purchase 2 liscenses! They should give a product this costly the option to do this without having to pay the full charge of another liscense. These are the only two negatives. Everything else is great! Use it you will love it!!

Huge productivity boost!

I leave the device hooked to my docking station in my home office. When I return from client visits, I scan cards a sync with Outlook. I always have the latest contact info for my clients and associates.

I use the Executive to scan cards and build marketing databases from our industry events, trade shows and expos. I can then send the database directly to our marketing department, and the job is done. Easy.
