I use this product to maintain my network contacts and back them up on line. Finally I am out from under the huge backlog of cards I collect!! I hesitated to buy one, read all the reviews and needed soemthing that would work with Vista 64, it does and it's great!! I sync it to Outlook and that works well too.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Resolution, Scans Accurately, Easy To Transport
Cons: Inaccurate

I use cardscan executive to scan all the cards in the computer. Cardscan is easy to use. The little noise is sometime a little bit enoying.
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Difficult To Sync

Scanner to propietary, will not scan jpg

Basic use to capture electronic version of business cards. Will not alow the capture of .jpg .bmp image file to use in emails, letters, documents.
Pros: Scans cards
Cons: Works Slowly, Will not scan to jpg imag
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is possible to export images scanned by the CardScan software as jpg images. Please consult our user manual for instructions.

Use with Lotus Notes to keep contacts in order between Notes and my Blackberry

More than just a card scanner

Some of the pleasant surprises that come with this product is the software and the AtYourService feature. I love being able to access my contacts on the internet. I also like the fact that you can have the service request updated information so you don't have to. The software itself has many features such as the ability to have multiple contact lists and sync them with outlook. This is extremely helpful when you want to send out a mass email to a particular group of contacts. Since I also have the Dymo Mailing Solution the CardScan software integrates with it and together this is ideal to print out a group of address labels. A definite "must have" for any business!
