Great product except there are problems with getting it installed on a 64 Bit Vista computer. I also have problems in getting in touch with a real live customer service or tech support person
Pros: Easy To Transport
Cons: Vista 64 Bit Install Prob

Great product. The only issue is when synchronizing I have to save file in At Your Service and it duplicates contacts.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy To Transport, Easy To Use, Scans Accurately, Scans Quickly
Cons: Difficult To Sync

Great gadget. Finally I managed to get rid of all those business cards!!. Now I have all my supplier's information at hand in Outlook and my smartphone. The scanning is fast and accurate (90%), even for non-english charaters. On the down side, the PC software probably needs some re-work to make it more intuitive and easier to add additional information that is not present on the cards. All in all an excellent product!.

Cons: Software not intuitive, Difficult To Search

CardScan is great, but I would like more

I use CardScan to consolidate several data sets under one database.Before I used to have to enter my contacts manually and had hundreds of business cards laying out around; now that's all gone and I am more productive.After using CardScan for some some time, I have realized that there are some things that could be better. For instance, at times I would like to add a new category that I didn't have before. In order to so, I have to scroll through all the other categories. It would be a whole lot better if there was text box where I can enter the name of the category. The box would display all categories that match what I entered - sort of how tags work.[...]

It helps me to introduce data and it improves the work of maintaing data updated. I miss some Multiplatform client and some integration with CRMs and Pims is not as easy to use as the regular product is.

Just got it set up and the scanner died

About the time I get it set up, the scanner stops working properly. Half the image is messed up, so I have to scan cards sideways and rotate them. I'll eventually report it to IT, which purchased it for me, but that'll be a 9-12 month process...
