Good but software is flaky and hangs

Overall, this is the best solution that I have found to deal with thousands of business cards. There are significant caveats, however: - the process is slow - there is still a significant amount of checking and manual fixing - the software crashes for no reason for days at a time and magically works again later. It happens on many commputers at the office. At least, please add some useful error reporting information. - support is helpless But as I said... I have not found a better way. Actually, if the software wasn't crashing... it'd be much much better.
Pros: Scans Accurately
Cons: Difficult To Search, Works Slowly

Brilliant Product

I was surprised at how well the OCR worked. Apart from making the odd "q" into a "g", it only has problems with cards that have a very dark background.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Scans Accurately, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly

I use it for all biz cards collected. helps keep 'clutter' organized and allows me to keep all my contacts neatly organized...

Cardscan is my best friend at office, because as I have tendinites, he save a lot of time and I don't have to typing all the infos of business cards, the only thing that I need to do is to correct some characteres that cardscan don't recognize, it saves my worktime.

I am just getting started so dont have much input yet. Sometimes I have several contacts at a company but only one card. So I scan the card several times then edit the different data for each contact. It would be nice to be able to delete the duplicated card images when I am done. Maybe this is possible. Time to read the manual.
