Clear the card clutter

I categorize my cards by type and product or service so that I can pull them up as needed. I like the ability to see my notes that I write on the business cards. Once I scan the cards, out they go. No more stacks of business cards to finger through.
Pros: Good Resolution, Easy To Transport, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Scans Accurately
Cons: Difficult To Sync

I bought the product for business use, but I have 2 separate businesses. I would like to put this on a different computer for my second business, but I believe the online back-up would combine the 2 sets of contacts. If there is a way around that, I would really like to know. Or if there's a way to buy software without the machine itself, so that I could buy it at a lower price and use it for my second business, please let me know.

Cardscan is used to capture contact data imemediately for file and reference purposes. What is most beneficial is the fact that it collates data by client/prospect enabling easy retrieval and access at later times. To date I/we have not experienced any feature which could be labelled "Con." Thank You!

Cardscan - A must have for the busy exec

As a busy technical professional, I find it necessary to keep up with thousands of international contacts. I've been a CardScan user for approximately 8 years and could not imagine trying to manage almost 4000 contacts without it. It's very important that I'm able to group people by their areas of technical knowledge, technical interests, and the countries where they are working. CardScan is an indispensable tool helping me to create working mailing lists on the run. The only difficulty Ive encountered is the difficulty sharing information from CardScan with other programs. The export features are cumbersome, and the e-mail features limited. I'm looking forward to upgrades in the future that will solve these problems and give me an even more flexible tool for the efficient management of a global contact list.

very useful. I wish some images would scan better and lately all contacts have not been synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook. Overall, it has tremendously helpful at organizing my contacts and aiding in follow-up.

The CardScan software does a pretty good job of identifying contact information and sorting it properly.
