Using CardScan has helped me tremendously in keeping the contacts for my Outlook, ultimately in my iPhone and CRM app.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Easy To Use
Cons: Inaccurate

the backup feature. Having recently experienced a major computer failure, I really appreciate haveing the ability to retrive the contact information. I really need to study the features that come with the program and become more proficient in its use.

This product is my primary database. I am a visual person and love the business card images. I feel secure about having all my cards backed up online and it is so convenient to have my cardscan sync with my blackberry. (but I wish it was simpler!)

I use the product several times a week to eliminate piles of cards yet to be entered into my contacts database. It's simple and quick, and it allows me to forward important contact information to those who need it. No more bulky card files or desks and drawers with cards strewn everywhere. I love it.

I am not the fastest or most accurate typist, and with a pretty large rolodex of personal, business and industry folks, trying to capture and maintain everyone's contact information could be daunting. CardScan helps me keep up at a level I could never attain otherwise. I would rate CardScan as the best product I have seen in all of the following areas (not only the best, but in many cases, the only one who offers the feature): - Scan/Enter information quickly from business cards - Drag and drop in contacts from email signatures - Automated updating of contacts - Access contacts from any internet connection - Easily review, categorize, and organize contacts - Customize contact fields - Find and consolidate duplicated contacts - Easily synchronize with my email software - Works well across a huge variety of other software I don't know what I would do without it.

Business-cards are still an important part of business. But with PDA's and iPhone there is a necessity to convert years of prior contacts to an electronic medium. CardScan is the way to go! Within seconds, information is coverted to electronic form and the artwork and images are maintained. Then keep information up-to-date by scanning when new contacts are made. It's great!
