As a business owner, this has been the fastest method of capturing contact information for multiple uses. I've tried many other techniques, but CARDSCAN came highly recommended by several other professionals whom I greatly respect. I believed initial reports to be pure hype, but I found myself being a CARDSCAN advocate to many of my colleagues. This has been one of the best investments for my business.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Good Resolution

Having to use the "eliminate duplicates" feature is a pain when adding a scanned card for someone that is already in your database, because the system will dupe the previous entry with the newly scanned in contact. However if that small flaw is the only thing I can whine about, believe me I need to get a life!

A must for Sales reps with a Blackberry!

If you own a Blackberry then you need to have a CardScan device. It is so nice when my phone rings I know which customer is calling me so I can greet them by name. Also, if they update their contact info it updates in my Blackberry. My customers think I know everything about them thanks to my CardScan. KDW - Seattle, WA

Fast, Accurate & Syncronises to PIMs

I use CardScan daily. It is my central repository of contact information, from which I sync to Lotus Notes which in turn puts the contacts on my Blackberry. The time it has saved me over the years is immense. I have scanned thousands of cards, which I would never have gotten around to typing in manually. I now carry my whole network of contacts on my Blackberry.
Pros: Sync to Lotus Notes, Easy To Use, Easy To Transport, Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Sync to PDAs, Scans Quickly
Cons: Nothing

Great time saver

I like the features that highlight where the text was scanned from. Also, synchonization works very well. I'm close to 2000 contacts with no issues and reasonably fast synchronizations.
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Quickly

Use card scan all the time Sure beats a Roledex File Keeps information Updated! When my computer crashed all my information was retrieved
