Excellent.Far better than CardIris Pro 4

Very efficient to scan cards. Simply feed one after another into the scanner. OCR text recognition and assignment to data fields is very good, though not always perfect. Works far far better than CardIris 4 Pro (CardIris has very poor OCR results and its overall usability is horrible.) CardScan readily syncs with Outlook and a proprietary online database. It really helps with networking.
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Accurately, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly, Easy To Transport

Great product other than the software is not fully compatible Vista. Otherwise, this product is a great time saver and great way to clean up and consolidate all of your contacts.

I Love My CardScan!

We are trying to use CardScan as a total integrated address book and contact system integrating with Outlook. I love the way that you can copy, paste and drag information into the system without typing and ability to sort, print labels and envelopes and avoid duplicates. I do need to learn more about the duplicate process and the Syncing.

Effective, but not 100%

I use the CardScan Executive to scan all my cards and sync with outlook (200-300 backlog), the OCR is good but far from 100% accurate, as a result every card still needs to be manually checked and so doesnt provide much of a productivity increase.
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Easy To Transport, Good Resolution
Cons: Inaccurate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Phenomenal Product

There is no substitute for the business person who deals with business cards and entering the data into Outlook. Some slight errors on data, but easily fixable. I love the unit and the software. It makes my life MUCH easier.

1 Needs a heirarchial sort capability as in excel. 2When porting into excel, would like to be able to port card images as well.3 Would like to be able to sync all files into one master file with one record for each including card image automatically
