CardScan deliters what it promises PLUS!

After deciding I wanted a card scanner I ordered one that was marketed well from another company. What a mess! I ended up having to return it and then checked out CardScan. Unlike the other scanner, it was simple to install and there were no compatibility issues with my computer. Within minutes I was scanning my huge stack(s) of old cards. At first I scanned them in batches but now I just scan as I go. The online backup offered by CardScan is an additional plus. If I were to wave a magic want to change something it would only be to sort/print with little more flexibility. However, they do have many options. I would definitely recommend this card scanner to anyone in business. I think it is a must.

This product has saved my firm so much time and money. As with everyone, our time is expensive and this device has enabled us to enter contacts in a fraction of the time that it used to take typing in the details. Only down side is that "SO" postcodes are sometimes read as "50" so it would be handy if they implemented an Alpha requirement for the first 2 letters in postcode and last 2 letters. Also it will only gather information from the front of the card despite being able to scan the back. Would be handy if it could process information from both sides. Apart from these minor points it is a briliient bit of kit!

Cons: Only reads front of card

Allows me to access contacts quickly while on the road: have to work out now how to sync with MS Outlook and MS Word ( eg for MailMerge)

Cardscan Executive Is A Winner

I occasionally find that the cardscan doesn't scan the card details. Otherwise it generally work like a charm. I personally find it easiest to scan business cards on a daily basis as if you leave them back up it takes to much time to do them even though the Cardscan is quick. Mind you I do potentially get between 5 - 10 cards a day.
