The software would be even better if it allowed to group or tag related contacts outside of the categories function. This would not just be for contacts within the same company or affilated companies but, let's say, for contacts related to a project, sales opportunity, case, etc.

Cardscan is a contemporary necessity for busy business people. It condenses all data into a single point, can be accessed from any web browser at any time anywhere, allows market segmentation, is a great reminder of who' who and simply works well. Couldn't do without it.

I use it to scan Business Card, Checks and receipts it would be nice if it could read these and add the category for the check and receipt information. Add a feature to rescan missed or not read information or information added to the wrong field, doing this by going to field and then hi-lite information.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Resolution
Cons: Works Slowly, Difficult To Search, Inaccurate

Scanning Backside only scanning, not the same like the firstside :-(

I think this is a great product if you have a lot of business cards, and for more of a contiual basis. It saves a lot of time when all you have to do is scan in your card, as opposed to typing it in and making sure you didn't have any typo's. The only down side is that when you are scanning a log of cards, the scanner will some times misplace some numbers, or read the cards incorrectly. You do, however, have the ability to amend any typos, move text around, or verify that the card is accurate. This takes time, but it still beats typing everything in to a data base! If I had to do it over again, I would buy cardscan again. :)

Due to variances in cards a thorough review is required as there can be many inaccuracies.
