CardScan600c Making Life Easier ?

I researched the product against competitors, and the result was CardScan is the standard card scanner, any other comparible product is questionable. This product is great! And for the most part scans the data accurately with very little tweaking to make sure the information is accurate. The challenge comes about if your trying to sync up the data with a lead management software like ACT, or some other I assume. The office gave me the 600c model to use which needs a transformer to power the thing up. However, my son gave me the 700c for a gift, and it's powered by just a USB cable, which is great for portability with my laptop. If I was going to invest in one, I would purchase the CardScan Premier entering the data directly into lead management software, making my life much easier. Now all I have to do now is figuire out how the lead management software works as it's just not very intuitive.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Good, Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Good Resolution
Cons: Inaccurate, Difficult To Sync, Sometimes

I'ts been said that the only reason to have a business card, is to get someone else's business card. I do B2B door to door sales and my collection of cards was unmanageable until I got MY Cardscan. I'd collect 30 - 40 cards a day and I was getting so far behind in entering the contact into my Goldmine database that it was becoming ridiculous. Then I discovered Cardscan. So easy to scan, convert and transfer to my Goldmine that it only took a short time to catch up and now I can spend my time productively marketing instead of being a data entry operator. Thanks Cardscan :-)

Very Good Time Saving Product

This is a good product. I use it to sync with MS Outlook and for the most part it works fine. One thing that does *not* work for me is that when I create a new "category" of user from within CardScan, the new category does *not* seem to be reflected within Outlook during the sync process. This is a pain. It may be me that's not using it correctly, but I'm pretty sure I've been through all the help and not found how to do this yet. Other than that: good scanning speed - good accuracy, all things considered.

Get ride of old business cards in a day

It also works if you cut out contact on word format or excel if you cut the paper just like a business card.

saves time great for syncing with Outlook wish the scans were a little more accurate beats the heck out of keystroking
