Best Buy on the market

Working with a membership organization, I accumulate hundreds of cards. CardScan is the best resource I have in communicating to the membership and sharing the cards and attendance lists with them. The one thing I wish it had is the ability to change a card for someone without having to retype the categories they are currently assigned to.

Good Product if You Like to Edit

Clear print cards scan great and accurately. Any graphics that include the person or company's name will have to be edited almost 100% of the time and for me that's 90% of all cards I've scanned (about 500). Titles and credentials are frequently confused with name or company needing more editing. Have not tried other scanners so maybe this is the best you can get?

Cons: Inaccurate

Why work standalone

With so many social websites around why is it that you did not hook up with a site like linkedin. Your website is not really used by anybody right. If you link it with LinkedIn it would make life a lot easier.

Great way to organize business cards

I used to have several card holders and had to spend sevberal minutes seaching for a contact when I wanted to find them. Now I scan the cards in and get ride of them, then I immediately sync with Outlook and I have quick access to all contacts.

Cons: Works Slowly, Would be nice if cardscan

CardScan600c Making Life Easier ?

I researched the product against competitors, and the result was CardScan is the standard card scanner, any other comparible product is questionable. This product is great! And for the most part scans the data accurately with very little tweaking to make sure the information is accurate. The challenge comes about if your trying to sync up the data with a lead management software like ACT, or some other I assume. The office gave me the 600c model to use which needs a transformer to power the thing up. However, my son gave me the 700c for a gift, and it's powered by just a USB cable, which is great for portability with my laptop. If I was going to invest in one, I would purchase the CardScan Premier entering the data directly into lead management software, making my life much easier. Now all I have to do now is figuire out how the lead management software works as it's just not very intuitive.

Cons: Inaccurate, Difficult To Sync, Sometimes
