The most useful feature of this product is the easy and accurate synchronization features of CardScan, and the remarkable accuracy when scanning. If you're going to work with MS Outlook everyday, you'll save yourself alot of time, and step-up your networking capabilities with a CardScan.

Good product, but too expensive

I use the scanner on 2 laptops. (1x private and 1x company) It is not so easy to sync both together. They need the same settings for a comparing. (the scanner is private investment)
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Quickly
Cons: Difficult To Transport

Scans about 60% of cards correctly

I use it to keep business cards at my finger-tips. Over 500+ cards scanned and counting. Works better than competitors products even if 40% of scanned business cards must be corrected. I would buy it again.

Great contact and management tool!

I use this for all business and personal contacts management. I have recommended it to many professionals, engineers, salesmmen and musicians. The expanded text section for (notes) is powerful for reminders, contract or inventory specifics, and alternate or special contact information. The database has simple and fast searches. You can customize contact information and categories to match your profession or needs. The database easily syncs with my PDA/phone and the internet access makes it great for remote sync and access from kiosk or shared PCs for travel. Some complicated graphics or clever trademarks business cards require correction when scanning, but otherwise the accuracy is very very good to high... I have over 1,700 active contacts in my business database; 600 contacts in a personal/hobby/second career database, and share select database entries with peers. When a co-worker or friend starts-up a new CardScan install, I can copy/paste select entries into a new or temporary database to help "seed" their database for mutual contacts. I highly recommend the application to anyone who manages or handles a host of contacts for business, pleasure, volunteering or hobby.

If you are serious about your business and contacts , then you cannot afford not to have Card scan. This is the most appropriate product after email to be in touch with customers and contacts ! I am now having my contacts always with me and easy online availability of these details make my life easy and good !

Great Product- just dont upgrade

Using this product to scan cards and maintain contacts- A+, they did a great job. The issue I have is telling me my version won't work with Vista and then I load it and it worked fine. To upgrade it was over well half the cost of a whole new unit. This makes it very difficult to stay with the product. Now I am looking at options versus staying with this. Great product or not, I don't like the software pricing or being misled.
