It makes life easier but update needed

I use it at conferences and at the office, but an update is needed to work with ACT 2009
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Search, Scans Quickly, Good Resolution, Scans Accurately
Cons: Doesnt work with ACT 2009, Difficult To Transport, Difficult To Sync

I use it everyday. Therefore, it is easy to use, necessary to my daily work, interfaces with my IPhone and BMW easily.

Great way to store cards on the web

Needed to have access to card data wherever I travel. Don't always have my own computer.

If yoiu use it daily (scan cards directly) you never miss an opportunity

Now that I have this product I don't worry about filing business cards, or having to file them away in big binders.

I have a 700C, I purchased second hand, online. The unit was not operating when received. When I called Cardscan for assistance, to my amazement cardscan replaced the unit, no charge! I believe I repeated the story to a dozen different people within the first week. The unit scans quickly and the resolution of the copy is excellant. The downside is the data printed out tends to be inacurate. I have to spend some time with about 50% of the cards correcting and inputing the data. Once all is inputed the recall capability is a great timesaver. I am still on the learning curve with the various capabilities of the unit. I am pleased enough that I will probably purchase a new model in the near future.
Pros: Easy To Use, Scans Quickly, Good Resolution, Easy To Transport
Cons: Inaccurate

CardScan has changed my life!

I bought CardScan years ago before getting into business development simply to keep track of family and friends and to stop carry around everyone's business cards. Now I am in a business development role and I have over 3,000 contacts. The best features are: 1) you can add a contact without needing a business card, 2) you can search on any field by just typing words in the quick search (e.g. we have had several cleaning services for our home over the years. Whenever I add a new contact, I put the word "cleaning" in their title so that when I want to search for them, I don't have to remember their name, I just type "cleaning" and their name pops up, 3) CardScan can be set to synch with Outlook either on a schedule or when CardScan changes or both. I have mine set to synch every 60 minutes and when I make changes to CardScan. I love this feature as I constantly have my contacts in Outlook and CardScan, 4) scanning cards to text saves so much typing on my part. It is an awesome product that I have now had for over 10 years. It is the most important software I own in a business development world. My friends are always amazaed at how accurate my contact info is for people. I love it and would tell anyone that who wants to buy it. Use me as a reference anytime.
