I walked out from a client book of approximately 2000 individuals - managed by a mainstream client information program, into a company that did not even have a quotes registry. Cardscan quickly converted two shoeboxes of collected business cards into a live database - accessible by any employee to gain access to the right person, for the right lead, once. Now when new leads are created – it’s a 5 second process to scan, verify and get the job done.
Pros: Cards in sales out
Cons: Have to be in the office

I inherited a stack of about 300 cards that I was slowing typing into MS Outlook. I'd been working on it a little at a time for months. I got the CardScan professional unit, and buzzed through all of the cards & had them in MS Outlook in about 45 minutes total.
Pros: Scans Accurately, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use, Good Resolution

I use the product in an office setting, maintaining the contacts for many people. CardScan has made it easy to manage the cards so each individual can access their own cards through Outlook. Being an administrative user of the software, can't figure out how to manage posting online the business cards of 6 to 8 people.Online help has not been very useful in this area.

I obtain hundreds of business cards at several conferences each year. Scanning and categorizing the contacts helps keep me incontact with the contacts i need to keep my business flowing.

Convenience Matters

I think the most important aspect of CardScan is the ease by which I can add contact info to my Outlook with its autosync feature, and at the samer time make the info available via the web for access outside of the office. This is extremely convenient.
