Great for organizing and keeping records of my key contacts. I like the ease of setup and use. A little bulky if you plan to travel with it. A "must have" for the serious business professional / leader.
Pros: Simple setup, Easy To Search, Scans Quickly, Scans Accurately, Printing Ease, Good Resolution, Easy To Use

Would recommend but with major caveats

I use the product to keep my database updated and to make batch data entry of contacts after trade shows and large scale meetings easier. For this functionality, Cardscan is far and away the best product in the market and I have bought it several times for that purpose and have not (yet...) switched away. However, having said that, I wish cardscan would provide integration with other email services such as gmail or thunderbird. I am currently using Outlook as a central default sync server but since that is not my primary contact center it would not otherwise be my first choice. If cardscan would make themselves a little bit more user friendly in this respect only I would recommend it to a LOT more people. One other function that would make input of Asian name cards so much simpler would be a simple button to automatically switch the scanned data in the First and Last Name fields e.g. Leow Tze Wen scans as First Name: Leow Middle Name: Tze Last Name: Wen When it should actually be First Name: Tze Wen Last Name: Leow This is pretty common for a lot of Chinese names and with the mainland chinese becoming far more internationally active you come across this situation more and more.

Cons: No Sync with Gmail, Difficult To Sync, Difficult with Asian Name

A GREAT Buisness Tool

The only con is it can be inaccurate on some wild fonts. Most business card work GREAT. I've used CardScan for over 10 years and wouldn't be without!

Time, Money and Life Saver

CardScan has helped our team stay on top of contacts while reducing process / admin time by at least 60%. The ease of use is phenomenal. It is not the best choice for some of the real artsy, high design cards that a few business use, however for 95% of the rest it is great. We have also learned not to write notes on the card close to text we want scanned right the first time - this too may hinder the speed and accuracy of CardScanner's otherwise very efficient performance. Overall this is a must have for the business card 'junkie' marketplace many of us have to operate within!!
