I use it to read cards and to send .vcf v-cards to project team members. Only one person prevents several from needing to input cards separately.

If you add the scanning date to the notes using Batch Options before processing the scan, you can check how old the information is.
Pros: Good Resolution, Scans Quickly, Easy To Use, Scans Accurately
Cons: Inacurrate in non-English

Great product, great value

I use Card Scan in my law practice. It is far and away the easiest contact program I have ever tried, and very well suited to my needs. The scanning function is amazingly accurate with any kind of card, font, color, card stock, or orientation of printing. This is truly a first class product.

We use Cardscan on our trade fair

We started using Cardscan on trade fairs. Using the scanner on a laptop, enabling us to shoot out e-mails straight after the clients visit to our booth. We have e-mail ready info package + a thank you letter prepared. It just works great. Carel Hassink, MJS group

UPDATES NOT SO EASY

If the updates were easier or autoomatic perhaps mine would founction better. After scanning a bunch of cards, it takes a considerable amount of time to correct the missreadings of the cards. Not what we had hoped for :( We actually have a 700C, so with any luck, this one might be more accurate !

Cons: Difficult To Transport, Inaccurate, Works Slowly

I have used cardscan since 1995 to get rid of four boxful of cards I had collected. Over the years, improvements in cardscan has made me wean myself away from Metz Phones - ContactEase and Outlook.
Pros: Easy To Transport, Scans Accurately, Easy To Use, Good Resolution, Scans Quickly
